Welcome to Hatch

At Hatch Elementary School highly qualified teachers and interns from around the world guide student learning to nurture curiosity and exploration of ideas, providing a global experience in a tight-knit community where students from diverse cultural backgrounds form rich friendships. Students may enroll in a two-way Spanish/English immersion program that combines students who speak primarily English at home with students who speak primarily Spanish at home, or they may choose a program that immerses students in English alone.

Students sit at modern modular desks surrounded by freshly painted walls, shiny white boards and bright new floors scattered with cheery rugs where they gather for lessons or to work together in groups. All classrooms feature a large touch-screen monitor teachers use to pull up a web page or photo in a matter of seconds, and students use iPads or Chrome books for interactive learning.
